Introducing the Social Savvy Workshops: A New Era of Life Skills Education

For years, I've been passionate about empowering young people with essential life skills, and I'm thrilled to introduce the Social Savvy Workshops—a modern, inclusive approach to etiquette and personal development for both boys and girls.

The inspiration for these workshops comes from my own journey as a parent. When my daughter was in elementary school, I enrolled her in Girl Scouts, hoping it would provide her with valuable life experiences. However, the environment felt exclusive, with many of the girls and their moms forming cliques that made us feel out of place. That experience led me to create something better.

I founded Proverbs 31 Girls, a group dedicated to helping young girls grow into women of noble character. Through Proverbs 31 Girls, we focused on teaching essential life skills like sewing, cooking, public speaking, charm, and etiquette—all while encouraging kindness, confidence, and personal growth. I also extended these teachings through my church, creating a positive, nurturing space for girls to build friendships and learn valuable lessons.

Today, the Social Savvy Workshops build on that same foundation but with a broader and more inclusive approach. Understanding the importance of life skills for all children, I've designed these workshops to be co-ed, ensuring both boys and girls have the opportunity to learn confidence, respect, and essential social skills in a welcoming environment.
